Meet Baker Bella

When I left Indonesia for the Netherlands, I left behind my family and friends, but I found inspiration here in a flavor that reminded me of home, Pandan.

I’m Bella, founder of Pandan Bar. What started as baking for my dutch family and friends has grown into a passion to share it with the world.

Pandan Bar is more than just a bakery; it’s a platform to tell a cultural story through dessert, blending Indonesian heritage with modern European presentation. Our mission is to grow Pandan Bar through meaningful collaborations with conceptual cafés and restaurants, and to make pandan a staple flavor in the European culinary scene.

What is Pandan?

Pandan is a tropical plant commonly used in Southeast Asian cooking and baking. Often called the “vanilla of the East,” it has a naturally sweet, floral aroma with subtle nutty and grassy notes. Its vibrant green color and unique scent make it a beloved ingredient across generations—and now, we’re bringing its magic into modern desserts.

Are all your products made with pandan?

Yes! Pandan is the heart of everything we do. From brownies to cheesecake, our recipes highlight this beautiful flavor in modern, creative ways.

Are your products vegan, lactose-free, or gluten-free?

Our standard recipes contain dairy and gluten, but we offer custom options for those with dietary needs.
You can request:

  • Lactose-free options (e.g. no cheese for cheesecakes)
  • Gluten-free alternatives (almond flour)

Do you deliver?

Yes—However, we currently deliver within Amsterdam and nearby areas in collaboration with our trusted delivery partner Kookxtra (Mobile only).

You can download Kookxtra from Apple Store and Google Play Store.

You can simply search us "Pandan Bar" on the Kookxtra platform and order through the app.

You can also choose to pick up your order in Amsterdam if you want to order through our website. Details and pickup time will be shared upon confirmation of your order. For larger orders or events, feel free to contact us—we’re happy to help arrange delivery.

Do you have a physical store?

Not yet—we currently operate from a production kitchen and offer our products through pre-orders, pop-ups, and collaborations with local cafes and restaurants.

Can I order directly from you?

Yes! You can place your order in two easy ways:

  • Through our website, where you’ll find our latest menu and product details (Pick-up Only)
  • Via Instagram DM, if you have other question over the products or have special requests

We recommend ordering in advance, as we bake in small batches to ensure freshness

Do you do catering or custom orders?

Yes! We’d love to be part of your special moments—whether it’s a birthday, event, or celebration. We offer custom cakes, mini desserts, and curated menus for events.
